  • going to the cliff with the wall there didn't seem to be any way to progress, and a few times I got stuck un the object that manifested and had to reload the page. very cute art. this seems like it could be a very cozy game with some polish.

Tell us about your game!
The main idea is in the interpretation of the shadow theme as "shadow of a doubt". Sometimes we experience things that let's us doubt that what we can see or measure is everything there is. So the game tries to reflect this experience with objects that only have a shadow in reality but can be made visible by examination. These objects are revealed ba the "transform reality" ability that can reveal and hide such objects. This ability reflects the second theme "alchemy".

Controls: WASD to move / E to transform reality / Space to jump

Extra Notes
Due to family and work I only had a couple of evenings to work on this. So the level of polish and content is not as much as I hoped for. So take this as an early prototype / proof of concept.

All 3D assets / animations and code is made by myself during the jam (only exception is the one sound effect I did put in to give the player some feedback. This is form a sfx pack that I have commercial rights to use.)

Clever theme interpretation & cute player character. The shadow/magic assets look cool and stand out nicely. I accidentally got stuck in one of the pillars. I think the shadows would look more pleasing if the light came from behind the camera, but maybe that was the point so it isn't that easy. For the last jump I just used the rocks on top of the platform to strafe to the end, I wasn't sure what was the right solution haha
