  • Enjoyable game, well made for limited time! I think this is a great platform to grow from, including learning about balancing, which is one thing I would definitely recommend working on!

Did you include your Game Design Document as a Google Drive link?
Yes

Seriously... did you include your Game Design Document?
Yes

Is your game set to Public so we can see it?
Yes

Tell us about your game!
This is a simple tower defense game where the economy is mainly based on destroying enemies when they are at their strongest (in the shadows). Game is fully controlled through the mouse, towers can be built in the yellow building areas. These towers can then be upgraded.

Doing each of these actions costs Light, a currency that is gained by killing enemies in the shadow zones, killing higher tier enemies, or by building a light harvester.

Extra Notes
Dog got sick half way through the jam, so I ran out of time and only got about 4 days of actual dev time in - go easy on me

This looks like a good base to build a light vs shadow themed tower defense game from.

Everything that is there is good.

Audio is nice and funky :P

Thanks for checking it out!

I think you did a really good job with this for only spending 4 days working on it! I beat all of the levels, and I loved the music! There definitely needs to be some balancing as the red tower just completely destroys everything, but with such limited time features are more important than balance. Great work!

100% on the balancing lol. This is my first game where balancing was something I actually had to consider. Originally the wizard’s tower would be a bit more useful when the boss enemy was introduced due to its very large health. The lighthouse tower definitely overshadows it in comparison. Thanks for checking it out!
