- This might be a case of being a bit too clever. I like the idea of your system of actions but when you have 12 or so actions and your first one is not intuitive (hook) and a player doesn't use the cheat sheet, you throw them in the deep end. It was also very unforgiving without practice. I highly recommend a better tutorial setup if you are aiming for that kind of control complexity. I question if auto-run was the right idea here or if it's a level design issue. I think there are several solutions y'all could look at. Music was banger, great track. Style is awesome. Definitely vibed with the theme pretty well. I don't think "casual" players is a proper audience at this point in development just due to needing to remember 12 combos on the fly.

love the idea, but it's really hard for someone to pick up for the first time, i spent like 5 minutes falling over and over again at the first obstacle. I think designing the start with new players in mind would be helpful, for example give a lot more run up so the player can play with the jutsu without consequence and just get the player to jump a few times for the first obstacles to get the hang of it, then slowly introduce more complex obstacles. Cool game nonetheless, good submission!
