  • Love the art style, smooth intro, great to play. I think the UI issues might of just been my browser but I couldn't see top right or top left objective. Health bar was a little confusing at first as well, might be fixed with a 'hp' label or something. Well done.
  • A personal favorite genre for me, really well done. The ammo mechanics are really awesome and the mix depending on load order was icing on the cake! Just those 5 elements alone, so many fun combinations. I would say Teleport felt wildly unpredictable and generally just put me in bad places.

Played it on a MacBook with a trackpad and still had an amazing fucking time. I can't wait to try it again at home with a controller, this was such a nice experience. From the smooth controls to the many overwhelming possibilities, whilst still being noob friendly.

If you ever release this as a full game, I hope I'll see it because I would love more!

Wow to call this game professionally made just doesn't seem to cut it.

I honestly don't really know where to start with this one. You don't get into playing a gamejam game expecting to find something of this high quality. Everything is polished, everything works, everything looks and sounds great and above all. It was damn fun.

The number of strange and fascinating element combos is insane. I think at one point I had 3 teleporting stars that randomly teleported me to each side of the map where they hit the walls. The shear number of combinations is insane and the fact that it all works boggles my tiny artist mind.

Of course being in the dumb*** that I am I found the simplest and most affective way to quickly kill everything was just pressing 123 for quick rapid fire splash damage haha. I suspect you guys probably set that up intentionally to give people an easy time. No doubt there's far better and insane combos that I just didn't figure out when I played.

It takes a few seconds to really figure out what you are supposed to do but once you get into the groove of things it all makes sense. Honestly though I Just mashed a ton of things until I found stuff that worked haha.

Running around after the objectives was a great touch. The minimap on the bottom right was a little confusing because at first I thought it was my location not the location of the rift.

The enemies posed a constant challenge and I felt especially threatened by the range ones that were very well communicated with their laser sights.

The boss was just fantastic and really well designed. Later when it just started spinning and shooting bullets everywhere it was a bit manic and hard to see but I still managed to bring it down. I feel like the health regen is quite generous as I'm sure I took a ton of hits and somehow still survived.

I think my time was 10:06 I'm pretty sure most of that was just me wandering around like an headless chicken trying random button combos though haha.

Really fun and extremely polished game. Insane that this was done within the gamejam timeframe.

Super tight. No issues playing at all, very intuitive to pick up. Lots of fun to figure out each of the combos and how they fit your style, and a BOSS BATTLE TO TOP IT OFF/!

Great job for a jam, ho-ly.

Very nice game ! I like the way you handled the mix of elements, I'm sure you have a well managed code behind this :)

Reminded me of Vampire Survivors but with this twist of mixing commands for a unique attack, I thought it really clever. The art is amazing. I just couldn't feel comfortable with the controls. Maybe with a gamepad it's better, but with MKB, having to move with WASD makes it impractical to make the attack combinations at the same time. I think I would have enjoyed the gameplay a lot more if I could move with the mouse right click, similarly to mobas, because I'd have a free hand to focus just on the attacks. Congratulations on this awesome work!

I expect to see this one on stream. Very polished, great art, solid mechanics and really easy to get into. The possibilities for this beyond the jam are huge too. Teleport was my least favourite (would love to see how it is used properly though) and my go to combo was splash, auto, spiral. The boss is sick too. Well done team!

Really enjoyable to experiment for a little bit.

This is really really cool! Loved the whole mechanic of loading different type of elements to the chamber and having them synthesized into different behaviors. Must be hard to design and implement. Would like some progression so that I can spend some more time with each elements, and learn what they did. (So that I don't always spam the single element into the chamber).

On a side note, would really want the reloading to be more accessible, as either movement or aiming has to be sacrifice in order to load. I can't count how many time my finger accidentally slide off a key (in the middle of the night) and made my it hurts a bit.

But anyway, a game well made! Well done!

Incredible work! This game had a very fun take on the theme of alchemy with unique backdrop of a western - cool idea! The core game loop is polished and smooth, the art and music was great creating a fun package.

I will say, I would have loved an option to see an indicator that pointed to the direction that the player was shooting, this would really help when the game ramps up and gets hectic.

The artstyle is awesome, the controls for "crafting" the bullets are a little weird but the game mechanics are smooth and it feels crisp to play! Love it!

This is a really fun game. I'm glad I see this game. There are so many variations of projectiles.
But it feel a little multi tasking on mouse and keyboard inputs.

Good game.

Congratulations on developing such a polished product in such a small amount of time, the game looks good sounds good plays good, the controls with the gamepad are amazing and really fluid, the mechanic of "casting" the type of bullet you will use is amazing -> only two cons are; very hard to play with keyboard, and sometimes i feel it would be nice to have auto attacks even if weak, and a dodge roll, that would kill it.
So far from all the games ive seen you deserve first place ^^ congrats!

I think I don't need to explain further : I NEED A STORY MODE.

Awesome.

really cool vibe and concept!

Wow. Really, really love the combining mechanics for shooting. Art and sound are amazing as well. Good job!

Very cool looking game!

It’s cool that there are a lot of effect combinations, but it’s almost too many. Especially since you need to load the element to see what it does. And you will probably stick to one combination anyway.

Controls need a little work, inputing combinations fast will mean that you need to let go of your movement keys. I would actually suggest leaving only 4 elements and mapping them onto arrow keys or d-pad, kinda like Helldivers’ stratagems.
