  • Very nice themes, interesting take. Would like some movement adjustments on NPCs snapping, a rotation would feel a lot better and a little bit more dangerous for risk. Very fun and nice take between dark salesman and making potions. Wish there was more time to make potions <3

It is the 1920s, and you are a now out of work alchemist due to the new potionbition mandate. In order to pay rent, you turn to making potions illegally and distributing them at night to avoid punishment. However, the APA, or Anti-Potion-Agency, have caught wind of your plans and have sent their field agents out to stop you! Make rent by any means necessary in this stealth/crafting game!

Extra Notes
It's a flash game homage! The scuffed audio is intentional :)

Cute and simple game loop! Not difficult at all and the potion making took about 1 minute to grasp so that's fine honestly, for those confused about it though maybe add just a little text sheet at the beginning that's skippable that says how to do it from start to finish. Great job!

In the game i would love to see cutscene, different endings when you win or lose, and warning signs for the enemy's movement.

1. You should add a high score for the potions.

2. Potion making was difficult at first maybe make an tutorial at the beginning explaining how they work.

I loved the game a lot I was speed running through it :)

Originally we wanted to have some kind of highscore functionality, but we ran into issues with c# and Godot 4 that necessitated us scrapping some stuff that otherwise would have made it in. Really glad that you liked it!

Fun game, love the potion crafting and stealth mix.

Notes:

  • Had enemies feel like they came out of nowhere when coming from below or above and catch me during stealth section
  • Struggled to make a potion at first as I was stirring at the end of the recipe without realizing it would say in the recipe.
  • When day over screen shows up, I can still make more potions
