- Very in-depth element combination gameplay. Enjoyed the process of combining elements to hit goals. Gives me some strong Factorio vibes, so good job. I think a tutorial on how different machines work together would be beneficial. Make more games!

BASEMENT GAME is a 2.5D automation game in which you must secretly compete with your magically-inclined peers to pass an alchemy class using nothing but science and old-fashioned particle accelerators. Juggle paying power bills and completing assignments as you discover the cryptic process to manufacture gold from common metals within the dark and shadow-y confines of your basement.
Arrange the machines in a factory line to produce the materials for your assignment, but make sure to submit them in time

Decently expansive game you've made here. Didn't get to the end of it but I am interested to see how the end game looks for this. At first I felt it was a bit confusing when it came to learning the mechanics, but messing around a bit allowed me to figure it out.
The UI was very good, however I felt the periodic table page looked a bit overwhelming, although simple in terms of gameplay. The power bill mechanic is a very cool way to link the Shadows prompt to this game.
Overall very well produced game that I would like to see expanded on further, rather than just being a more sandbox/linear experience. Awesome job!
Thanks for the feedback! We all agreed that some sort of tutorial would be helpful but unfortunately we just ran out of time. Glad you were able to enjoy it!! -IJ
Really nice automation game.
At first glance it feels a bit overwhelming and complicated but after a bit of time you get the grasp what's going on.
I would recommend some progression system - don't throw everything at player. Let him learn step by step.
Also there're missing some assets.
But overall I think concept is really cool and I would love to se full game with some quests, limits, upgrades etc.
thanks for the feedback! Glad you were able to enjoy it - IJ
