  • This was such a neat idea. I really liked the hand drawn insert as well! So different. Some more guidance on golems would have been nice but it was so fun to play.

Did you include your Game Design Document as a Google Drive link?
Yes

Seriously... did you include your Game Design Document?
Yes

Is your game set to Public so we can see it?
Yes

Tell us about your game!
You play a character that had a run in with some bogus wizarding gear and has ended up being split into light and shadow forms. The overarching goal story-wise is to find a way to put yourself back together.
This is a 2D puzzle platformer where you switch between two forms to traverse the level. At a certain point, you will come across obstacles that will require a bit more than your current ability. By exploring, you'll find golems that have a special ability each. What do they do? You'll have to find out!

Extra Notes
Got the submission in at 5:59am. Cutting it a bit close, lol. Unfortunately, my teammate wasn't able to participate for the entirety of the game jam duration.
Wasn't able to execute on everything outlined in the GDD (Sound & Art). This is my first game jam, as well as making my first prototype. Failed a lot but learned a lot more. Thanks for hosting the game jam!

I really like this actually, The hand drawn backgrounds are cute for now ^_^.

I did have some trouble doing the jump after blowing up the rock. But solid first concept!

Thank you for playing and I'm glad you liked it!

You're right about the platform after the rock removal, I should have clearly defined the platform underneath the rock. Something to rectify in the future!
