  • Thank you for your entry into the game jam! This was a chokingly fun time! I love the both simple and advanced overlay on the game screen. The change between vision and smog worked well. Graphics overall were pretty solid for the setting and style. Controls worked great and were very responsive. The angle bouncing shooting was also fun! Music was fitting and added to the setting and vibe! Sound effects worked and fit well as well! Having heals and power ups from dead enemies was smart and kept the gameplay tight with a way to extend survival! Overall great work on your game! Lots of potential and future development ideas are available to you and Im excited to see what you do with them!

Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
Yes

Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes

Summarise your game!
It's a top-down shooter in a sci-fi setting. The key mechanic is the smog, which restricts the player's vision but increases the damage you can do.

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
The player character is a robot, tasked with defending a base on a distant planet. Since the humans who built the base are no longer around, any non-combat functionality the robot once had has been forgotten, leaving you nothing more than a mobile weapon.

Love the music! Very fun going around seeing what new enemies will pop up, I like their creepy designs. I died because I thought the purple orb was friendly, I pushed it around to see if it would hurt enemies hahaha. Also enjoy how long rockets will bounce around until it hits something. No wasted shots :D
