I like the aesthetic and the music. I don't know if I was doing well or not. I like the idea of a blacksmith working themselves to death. Show me the munnies!

- Hey! I really enjoyed your demo. I loved your take on the theme, and I think you implemented the ideas laid out in your GDD pretty well. What stood out to me was the quality of the art and music while maintaining a fully playable game. I think all the design aspects work well together to create a cohesive "feel." All of the mechanics seemed to work as intended and I had no issue progressing. A couple places for improvement from here could just be polishing up some of the UI and sprites. I had a few visual glitches with hidden text and colliding sprites. It might also help to have a "tutorial day" for players to get used to all the mechanics, as it took me a bit to figure out what did what. Overall, it's a good demo that I would love to see turn into a full game. Great job!

Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
Just did and I believe anyone with the link can view it.
Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes
Summarise your game!
The player must manage their Life Essence and resources to forge and enchant weapons to keep up with customer demand. Every 5th day, the player must have enough munnie to pay rent and pay off a local gang threatening to burn down the shop. The gang demands more and more money, so the player must increase efficiency to keep up. To help with this, the player can hire employees, purchase permanent power ups, and even hire security to stave off the inevitable. Ultimately, to pay off the gang for good, the player must earn 1,000,000 munnies.
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
Through putting your life essence into your forging and enchantment, you put yourself into them. You are the weapon.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
Would you commit to completing this project? Would you want to see it hyper-polished?
