- Music was a little too loud initially; however, I did like the arcade sounds as they complemented your theme. The background and assets used seem to work well together. Also, the level-ups as the waves came at me were very interactive, and I enjoyed having a few choices in a level-up. I would just turn down the audio a little bit; otherwise, it's a super fun game!

Summarise your game!
Slime Surge is a 2D top-down rogue-like shoot ‘em up where you control a weapon of your choice to defeat waves of slimes with the goal to reach the max level and defeat the final boss. Each level up allows you to add stat modifiers to your weapon as well as increase health. Because the game is just a prototype, the max level is capped to 5. Meaning you can only apply 5 modifiers before reaching the boss. So choose your modifiers wisely.
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
With the theme being "You Are The Weapon", in my game you control a weapon and use it to defeat waves of slimes meanwhile upgrading your weapon.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
Not particularly.
