- Gun in a Well was a fantastic variation on a concept I've seen quite a bit-- navigating through the physics of gunfire. I think the dynamic variable of falling, vs tilting yourself to and fro on a static landscape, added a lot of fun to overall gameplay. The sounds of falling, gunfire, reloading, damage, and lightning all felt very well placed and mixed. I believe some kind of musical score would help replay ability overall and there are multiple options to deliver a cohesive feeling with the current ambience. Enemy and obstacle sprites were clear and communicated mechanical information about gameplay well. Shots felt powerful, as did upgrades, without reducing gameplay to a state which couldn't be failed. Thank you very much for this submission to Pirate Software Game Jam 16. Please continue to develop this title.

Gun in a Well is an action roguelike where you shoot, burn and electrify monsters while plummeting down on your way to hell. Choose your upgrades carefully and become a deadly weapon to survive the challenge!

Really nice downwell-like game. The gameplay is simplistic but satisfying and the upgrades and stage varieties were all fun. The clean art direction and sound effects make this a very complete package. Good work!
