  • This is a very good start to a rogue-like shooter game. The movement and shooting was good and the room generation was very nice. I liked that everything seemed to have an animation, it helps give the characters and items more life. Having the enemies attack you only if you get close enough seemed a bit odd, maybe having them go towards the player when they enter the room as well. Overall this was a good game, add some music and sound effects, adjust the enemies movement and you could have a really great game on your hands.

Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes

Summarise your game!
Top down shooter, use awsd to move a and arrows to shoot.
Your consciousness has been moved to a weapon, making a sentient weapon. Your aim is to find the and scientist who did it and make him reverse this operation. But first, you have to find him while fighting with his other cerations.

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
You are a Sentient weapon.

Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
Just let me know if it was fun and would it be worth to expand a bit (like adding more monsters, themes etc)

Nice game, keen to see where you take it. The main thing for me was the difficulty level. I reckon double the enemy count in the level and reduce your health so it only takes a few hits to die. I really like the abstract art style, some funky music would work well with it.
