  • Weapons vs Goblins did exactly what it said on the label, and I liked that a lot! The sword control is fairly intuitive (although the hitbox on the blade is not) and the lose condition is pretty self explanatory. I appreciated the directness with which you approached the theme. Music and sound effects, power-ups to increase the size of your blade, and some kind of mobility option would be wonderful additions to this prototype. Perhaps a game loop for swapping weapons, or a quest line to unlock more weapons, could be implemented? Thank you very much for this submission to Pirate Software Game Jam 16.

Interesting concept; I got stuck on the first enemy, game didn't reset - but the sword rotation was smooth as!

I didn't make it as clear as it should be, you are supposed to stab the goblin that's holding the club multiple times, else it will get you. Also I didn't know how to make it restart so unfortunately you need to refresh the page in order to replay it.
