Arena Blitz: Ball Fury's itch.io pageJudge feedback
Judge feedback is anonymous.
- After several attempts at getting the game to run I and some others have been unable to. It may be a compatibility issue but that is unclear. The game loads and then no interaction/ key inputs seem to work. Both windowed and fullscreen. I did manage to find someone who could get it to run it. I think you really need the multiplayer experience to get the proper feel. I like the unique idea of trying to get rid of your balls as opposed to "destroying an enemy" The colours are distinct enough to tell apart which is a positive. The GDD is well put together but could use some more visual planning as well. Looks like it has some decent potential as a party game.

Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
Yes
Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes
Summarise your game!
Couch Multiplayer playable with gamepads.
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
As the player is launching the balls, he's the weapons and the balls are the bullets/ammos.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
Only had 8 hours to devote to the jam, but I like to force me to move forward.
So, please try to have fun with it, even if it isn't really polished...

I'm unfamiliar with twin stick games, so this is new to me - so hopefully you'll get some nice perspective from a player who is new to this type of game. I didn't know what the game was about, so I read the description to learn a bit more when playing - an in-game tutorial would help a lot! I was able to play two colors at the same time, and I think the purpose was to use up all your bullets while simultaneously dodging other color bullets - I don't know the win condition though, so if there were scores or a round timer that would be nice feedback to the player so they know if they are making progress or not. Overall, I think this was a good attempt with just 8 hours! Well done!!
As twin stick lovers this was a novel take, We really had a good time! and in 8 hours this is amazing,
