There's a really nice idea here, and it looks great, but I found it pretty difficult because of how little of each map I could see. I mostly ended up just throwing the axe out and hoping for the best. A version of this with a longer path indicator and more zoomed out view might be worth trying out.

- The game plays well in the browser. The art style of the game is well made and the goal is clear to understand. Having a quick tutorial to explain, that the player can click while the axe is flying to change direction would be helpful, otherwise that can cause frustration and the game feels like a "hole-in-one-putt-putt" game. With including the player being in control of the flying axe the theme of the game jam was met quite well. The overall GDD is written well and is a good base for developing the game. When writing the specification document, try to write it in the present, not past, since this is how you will make the game not how you've done it. First specify second create the code. The additional launching platforms are a great idea, maybe have a quick overview of the map before starting the level so players can plan a bit, also that might take away the exploration of a new level.

Summarise your game!
A top down platformer? inspired by the frustration game
click/touch to change direction, reach the end of the level, must hit all buttons / keys to open the exit
Decals on the level will point to keys, while the black arrow points towards the exit
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
you play a sentient? axe in a throwing range
