- I love games like these. Papers please was a gem and the games that follow the concept are usually really clever and unique in the execution. This is no exception! Great art style, fitting sounds and an interesting spin on the game, as well as it fits the theme really well! Some points to touch on: The objective is not clear straight off the bat. You could include a small tutorial ship, or a tutorial in general to help players navigate better. Are the bans supposed to be: Only if you have all of them? Because I had multiple cases when the cargo was carrying banned goods, but when I destroyed the ship, it slapped me with a reprimand. First it was because there are multiple types of one icon, which I figured out eventually, but even if the icons for the banned good match perfectly, it didn't count? All in all, really well done! Keep up the good work! I hope to see more games from you!

Summarise your game!
B.I.G. Gun is a 2D visual puzzle role playing game where you take the role of an AI controlled gun guarding the intergalatic border checkpoint: the B.I.G. Gate. Use your scanner to look inside ships and make sure nobody is breaking the daily law set by your owners, because its your job to kill anyone who breaks the law even if it means killing an entire ship full of potentially innocent people in the process. Refuse to be a good tool in the hands of your masters and face destruction, or follow the rules and get promoted.
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
We took the idea of "You Are The Weapon" literally, being that you are playing as a giant death ray - or at least the AI that controls it. Since you embody a weapon it was important to focus the design on the first person perspective and the mechanical nature of what we normally consider weapons. This sort of ended up making us think about the morals of being someone else's weapon which we dashed into the writing.

A fun send up to papers please! I would love to play an expanded version of this game.
Really liked it so far, though trying to look for the specific clothing patterns while they are moving is a bit tedious at that little pixel amount - but that could be just me. Maybe experiment like bit more outstanding/more distinguishable costumes for people in the long run?
I really had a lot of fun with the premise. Great way of making the game progressively more challenging. Would love to hear the more sound effects when you blow those ships to ash. Great game :)
Cool game! I love these style games also good way to implement the theme 😎
ALSO!! is that the freaking hyperpigmentation drawing as a cargo container! that's freaking hilarious if it is.
