- GDD The GDD is perfect. Very detailed, and nailed every single point. Gameplay Sadly, as stated on the game page, the game gets stuck on the tutorial as soon as we get in the battlefield, so I could not properly test it. We aren't allowed to download the game. Art Amazing art and style. It felt like a fever dream. A mix between humans and things. Gave me a vibe close to the robots on Stray. I loved what I could see, and the transition from 2D art to the gameplay art was great; it kept the same vibe. Sound design Sweet and short BGM. The loop was quite enjoyable. It was a great choice to put nonsensical noises as talking sound. It matched the alien vibe the game already had and filled the gaps nicely. Sadly, I could not experience the combat SFX. Last thoughts Such a shame the game did not work on the browser. As per the GDD, the gameplay looked like something special. I hope you can fix it later and maybe publish a full version. The atmosphere was so unique; it really impressed me. Great job.

Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
Yes
Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes
Summarise your game!
Fight off a hoard of monsters in a dark fantasy setting as a great sword being. Upgrade yourself and go back into the fight
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
Since the thme is you are the weapon, I made it so you fight as an actual weapon and all the theming is based around how you as a weapon can upgrade yourself.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
Feel free to check out the GDD, I also included a dev log detailing each day and a TLDR of each day with a photo so it should be a quick read. The shop system took a while (might still have bugs) but I thought it was a neat thing to develop.

Loved the art style... not sure if its just me but keep getting stuck on the tutorial not sure why nothing happens :(
Apologies, I overscoped quite a bit and did not get to test as much. The download works a bit better, but thanks for checking it out!
