Great job! Really like your interpretation of the theme inhabiting different weapons. Caveat, I played on the older upload. I think a slightly more condensed level design to inhabit more types of weapons faster would've been nice. Loved the pixel art. Congrats!

- Living Armory is a really fun game that took the theme 'you are the weapon' as literally as it could; in a good way! I liked the creativity of switching weapons; upgrading as you go. I like the idea of a sentient spirit or 'branch' possessing weapons to fight through a dungeon. It makes me think about my next D&D character! You said you were going for old-school Gameboy vibes, and I think you really nailed that! The sounds, artwork and gameplay style all worked together to give it that very retro vibe! Excellent job. I would have loved to see expansion on the enemies as well as the 'types' of weapons. A wand or crystal ball or something would be cool, but that's just me. I like magic in games where it can. The bow is a nice touch! just different enough, I think. The playability was on point. I didn't have any bugs (other than the crashed game, but I went and played the other one, no worries.) The game ran as I would expect it to, and it felt just like playing an old Gameboy game. The Jump even felt like one of those old games. The GDD was very well laid out. It had everything I would expect in a GDD. It even had a Development Timeline, which I always love to see. DTs help us as judges see what you wanted to complete verses what you actually completed. Overall this is a really great offering to this game jam! Well done.

Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
yes
Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
yes
Summarise your game!
You play as a branch of the tree of life who literally came to life and has to fight its way out of a dungeon full of enemies. The stick can take control over other weapons lying around in the dungeon and has to make use of all weapons to solve puzzles and escape.
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
The theme is "You are the weapon". In Living Armory, the player literally walks around as different weapons and hacks, smashes or shoots enemies with its own body somehow.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
This is our first time we experimented with sprite, tileset and canvas size all fitting together. We tried recreating a gameboy advance look and feel and we would like to know if it worked.
