It is an interesting and different perspective in spreading viruses type of games it fits theme very well! The art is adorable. I like the pastel clour pallet. The music is really smooth and chill. The idea of balancing how much you should spread a disease to not over do it and to progress on the upper class sounds really fun!
There were some bugs that kept reoccurring:
At the moment when I would die and would not have a rat with me it spawns a dead rat out of nowhere. In the third scene, I jumped in attempt to avoid the bird, but it only spawned a bunch of dead rat bodies in the air.
The reset button R, blacks out the screen but nothing really happens, no matter how much I wait.
I would like to be able the game in full screen and to see a menu button to adjust the sounds or return to the beginning would be great.
The game has potential, and I would really like to see how you will develop it further!

Summarise your game!
This game is a 2d platformer with an interactive progressing narrative story. Set during the 1300s while the Bubonic Plague was running rampant, you will be playing as the flea carrying the contagion. Infect people, avoid enemies, hitchhike on rats, and learn more about the city of Sommer Stadt as the people try to save themselves from the plague.
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
Our game fits the theme of "you are the weapon" by having the player play as a flea carrying a deadly plague. The more the player interacts with the world, the more the plague will spread.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
This is the very first game we have ever made (2 of us) so we had to learn a lot of it as we went along these past two weeks. So, some of the mechanics may be finicky.
