- A side scrolling beat em up with some interesting ideas. A cute and charming game where you replace your arms and legs with various bits of garbage to beat people up. While this is a fun concept the weapons all felt the same regardless of the item. Making the choice of weapon almost indifferent. while the music was fun and the art is cute. The game needs more depth in the weapon selection. The GDD was lite, and simply explained the mechanics with no plan for further development. However this shouldn't stop you from continuing to work on the concept and refine it into a fun game. Keep making cool stuff!

Have you checked that your GDD is publicly accessible ?
Yes
Is your game set to public on itch.io so we can see it?
Yes
Summarise your game!
Our game is based on the Ship of Theseus. You are a racoon who replaces his limbs with weapons to fight gnomes and a Fox Mage.
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
We decided that the best way to be a weapon, is to build yourself into a weapon. There are objects on the ground and things that you can break down into items that you can replace your hands or feet with.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
We focused on destroying things and using the parts as your limbs. So breaking garbage cans, bird houses, and a few other things would be good to pay attention to. Also equipping the items is interesting.
Each item has its own damage, so each item isn't created equal.

Hey fellow dev who designed their game based off a Greek myth! We even have a similar art style! (though the mechanics themselves differ significantly)
Also I couldn't help but think that the Fox Mage's real name is Mozilla (because they use firey foxes and are a fox and are therefore a Firefox)
Was pretty fun to beat up enemies with 2 swords and 2 baseball bats 2 while mashing the keyboard.
Thank you, I'm really glad you liked it. I'll check out your game.
I don't think we really came up with a name for anything yet lol. We've been simply calling him the Fox Mage, but I do like firefox, and Mozilla does sound kinda Wizardly.
We actually had combos too, but not enough time to do the animations and refine it especially since we had a bunch of other things that needed some refining, but it was our first time making a game so I'm happy with how it came out!
