- The design document is organized and detailed. Concept for the game is very clear. Level design is well explained, along with sample images help to outline all the levels and their challenges. Art style is described and examples of both menus and assets are provided making it very easy to understand the stylistic intent of the project. The only thing missing would be a sense of the development timeline. I like the take on weaponry and your play on 'pistol' with the shrimps claw. Using the setting of a saloon/aquarium is fun and kinda goofy, it fits the intended style very well. The levels are designed well. There's an interesting variety of obstacles to bounce around and having some of them be destructible adds another level of strategy to the consideration of how to best use bullets. The bounce line feels very intense, visually, possibly turning it into a dashed line would lessen that 'weight'. Additionally, some of the objects assets are hard to distinguish as destructible. The bouncing physics worked well and the claws followed the indicated trajectory well. I did notice that the level would allow you to keep shooting after all bullets had been consumed. Adding a "boss" level was a really neat component. Not used to seeing that in this style of game. Lot of room for more levels and additional challenges and bosses.

Pistol Shrimp is a Western/Shooter style game about a cannon-armed shrimp that wants to take revenge on the people that wanted to boil him for dinner!
The player can aim and shoot bullet that will ricochet on walls and obstacles, breaking weaker obstacles.
Controls: Mouse to Aim and left click to shoot.
Please explain how your game fits the theme:
You Are The Weapon: The protagonist is a pistol shrimp(Snapping shrimp) like his real counterpart he can shoot with his claw literaly turning himself a weapon and all he wants is revenge, turning himself into a weapon and toolto make it happen.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
we would love to hear about implementation of the mechanics and game design(level design specially)
