Short platformer but interesting idea, I like the idea of looping through the level and slowly getting stronger, I can imagine with a larger game with many branches you could have some super interesting level designs. Great job!

- GDD Great GDD. Very well structured. I appreciate the inspiration; I didn't know Johnny Upgrade. The GDD did a great job showcasing the upgrades and mechanics and the dev timeline. Gameplay The gameplay was explained well in the GDD, so I had no issues grasping it in-game. Pretty simple and enjoyable; the time constraint is generous, and I appreciate that using powers drains it faster to keep balance. I had some issues with the loop, however. For some reason, I got all upgrades in the beginning, so I started at max level. That aside, it's a static metroidvania where you are expected to die before making progress. Neat. Art The art is very charming; pixel art has its way of being expressive while simple. The palette drove home the idea of being inside an evil genius lair. I feel a death animation would go a long way in this case because you are a bomb, but the only indication of that is the timer. A massive explosion before the time being rewound would be a cool touch. Sound Design There was only the SFX of some skills and gunshots available, but they did the job. In case a BGM can't be made in time, some simple background noises like industrial fans can still give ambiance to the setting. Last thoughts I enjoyed the concept. It can be expanded well with more upgrades to open more of the map in the future. Good job, team.
