Really cute concept! I loved the Minion’s designs.

- - Learning the engine is always good, take lots of time to explore and study features. - There were a lot of bugs I managed to find. while learning a game jam this is okay, it can also help you learn more about the engine. Going under other sprites made your character vanish. This is a great place to start resolving bugs. - The writing was good and the concept was funny. It was enjoyable you took the time to give everyone there own personalities and styles. - This is a great start to use prefab tools to create. RPG maker has a lot of feature you can work with. Replacing assets with your own is also a good way to learn structured environments and sizing. This could easy continue on into it's own game if you so wish to continue. World building in this style is going to be good practice or the start of something great. Let others test your game to find bugs and report them to gain that extra skills to deal with those issues because if they occur again you already know how to fix them or even prevent them. Having extra time and investing it to continuing to work is a good idea. Your GDD was good, and the sprite layout was amazing but feel free to add the concepts and ideas you have to go along with it. Sometimes explaining things out can encourage yourself and you can look back and reflect on why you didn't include something or where you could flush out more details.

Summarise your game!
An archmage left behind their weapon in a dungeon when they passed on. Hoping another person worthy of wielding them will come. But they never do.
And the weapon grows tired of waiting for a wielder. They will lead themselves.
A very short and messy game made for the Pirates Game Jam 16!
All music, assets, and maps are from RPG Maker MZ!

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
You play as the weapon at the end of the dungeon! The one that the hero always wields, but this time they want their autonomy.
Is there anything you'd like the judges to pay particular attention to?
Hopefully they can enjoy the silly premise! I was unable to truly get my game I had envisioned complete but I think it's interesting enough for what is there!
This is my first time doing art, programming, etc. So any feedback on what to improve on would be nice :-3
