  • This was fun to play around with, and I had a blast twisting up the body into a pretzel to protect it with the sword or flying off solo to murderhobo some goblins. There were some problems that I noticed revolving around enemy detection and clipping through walls, but that’s easy to buff out during the ongoing process. The implementation of the theme was spot on, and the clever mechanics were easy to understand. Moving on to the Game Design Document, the layout and information were exactly what we were looking for. The only thing I would change would be to how the timeline was interpreted. The finish date all being the same defeats the purpose of a “Timeline.” Instead, consider breaking things up in terms of the importance, ease, and prerequisites. For example, the player sprite should be done before the enemy sprites, which should be done before any animations are put in, so the player sprite should have the earliest finish by date of the three, followed by the enemy sprites, etc. The same could be said for coding and level design. All in all, good work!

This concept was super interesting and fun to play around with! c: I was able to kind of swirl and twirl my way through all the walls though and drag my guy through too. Amazing work!
