- This was a fun game, having the ability to punch the guys through the walls was fun and made me feel powerful. I liked the music for the game, it was up beat and nice to listen to. I did have the problem of if I didn't swing right as they got near me then they would hit me first, maybe that's intended but it felt like an odd timing mechanic. the starting of the game was very well animated, i was not expecting to see a movie opening in the game.

The Weapon 2 is about a retired hero who saves the city bank from a band of bank robbers.

Story

The city bank is under attack by a group of bank robbers and it's time to let the world know that The Weapon is back!
The bank consists of three floors and one vault room.
Your goal is to defeat all of the bad guys on each floor to unlock the door leading to the next floor.
Can you make it all the way to the vault room before the bad guys stop you themselves?

Mechanics / How to Play

Take control of The Weapon and use his Super Suit to defeat the bad guys.
The Super Suit can do the following attack:
- Melee attack. This attack deals 10 HP damage.
Use the Melee attack to defeat the enemy by landing consecutive hits until they run out of HP.
**Tip**: Make quick work of the enemy by blasting them out of a window or pushing them down a flight of stairs.

Please explain how your game fits the theme:
A retired man who is past his prime falls asleep on his couch while watching TV. He begins to dream that he is a superhero donning a Super Suit.
The Super Suit grants him the power of extraordinary strength, allowing him to pummel any bad guys that stand in his way.
His heroic display of strength and desire to protect what he loves quickly becomes the talk of the town. He is their hero and protector from crime. They call him, "The Weapon".

Really fun game. I love the graphics. The cutscene in the beginning looked great. I love the ambiguity of it possibly being the man dreaming he's in the movie. Punching the guys out the window was hilarious.
I don't know how I did it exactly, but I managed to glitch through the wall in the 3rd level and skipped to the last level without beating the guys in the 3rd level. The music was a major bop. I could listen to that loop for hours.
This was a really fun beat'em up. Graphics are great, controls felt great, music great!

It's funny you mention glitching through the wall. The same thing happened to me during a test run right after submitting the game. It turns out the vault walls were missing colliders. We've since patched it, but we'll have to wait until the voting is over before uploading the new build.
It's our first Game Jam and we were able to deliver something at the end. Check it out and I hope you like it :)
