This was actually quite a fun game to play. It reminded me of N64 Super Smash Bros.

I played with both controller and keyboard / mouse and the characters movement were a little glitchy, but the attacks worked fine. The power up attack was really cool to see implemented as well.

Great idea to use the Unity capsules for the characters.

On a side note, I noticed when connecting Player 2 that the horizontal inputs are inverted which caught me a bit by suprise.

Overall, nice work on the game!

Awesome job with this game!

I loved the atmosphere. The ambient music accompanied it perfectly.

The main gameplay loop is intuitive. It was fun trying to track down and destroy the closest asteroid before it crashed into the planet. My favorite part was unlocking the rapid fire weapon to take out all asteroids in the vicinity. It really came in clutch as I was low on HP!

The story was well written and the sound effects are classic retro. Great fit for this style of game.

Great work! Looking forward to playing your next one.

Hey bytron,

Thanks for playing our game! Glad to hear you enjoyed it.

It's funny you mention glitching through the wall. The same thing happened to me during a test run right after submitting the game. It turns out the vault walls were missing colliders. We've since patched it, but we'll have to wait until the voting is over before uploading the new build.

This game was a lot of fun to play. The core gameplay loop of rotating your ship around a radius and having stat upgrades is a very creative take on the traditional asteroids formula. The inclusion of a leader board really got me hooked and wanting to play more. Great job!

Very fun and funny game. The art style is quirky and fits well with the comedic theme of the game. The dragon animations were very cool. I enjoyed the mechanic of trying to keep the bombs in the basket. Nice job!

This game is very well done.

Controlling the sword feels great (I played with controller). By the time I reached the second level, I felt as if I was playing a rhythm game jumping to the music. Very fun. The art style is very consistent and charming as well. Awesome job!

Small note: I encountered a small bug where I couldn't select the Restart Level button after dying in the second level.

The game does not run for me either, unfortunately.

Browser: Chrome
OS: Windows

Well done!

I like how you can move the mouse to swing the sword. The ability to upgrade the sword was a fun surprise as well.

I was a bit confused on how the upgrades worked, so I just dropped a bunch of random ones into the slots and my sword quickly became OP (in a good way).

I think it would be cool to have some way to defend against the enemies,  especially the ranged attacks from the archer. Just a suggestion as a possible feature to add in the future.

Overall, great work!

Hey Grape Jelly, thanks for the comment. Our composer kingmanatea deserves all the credit for the music. Happy to hear you enjoyed playing the game!

You guys did an awesome job!

- The idea of unleashing the Alien as the weapon fits the theme.
- The tutorial was a nice-to have and didn't overstay it's welcome.
- The design of the main character, the monsters, and environment were unique.
- The kirby-like mechanic of taking over the monsters was implemented really well.
- The player movement felt fluid and responsive.
- The usage of the Mario 64 cannon launch sample sound in the background music was an awesome easter egg.

- I really liked taking over the monsters, but wished you could control them for just a little while longer before they ran out of energy.
- I felt a bit lost at times when navigating around the level as a lot of the areas started to look similar.
- A few of the intro sound effects were a bit harsh on the ears.

Hey JynxMe, thank you so much for playing!
