What Game Segment is this Theme For?

Forest

Description
Most of my inspiration comes from all of the alpha album of the game OST (I mean the song was made in the same scale and tempo as "Sweden"). I like the mix of electro/chiptune and calm piano from those songs and I wanted to replicate that.

Also the ending takes a little inspiration from the Caves and Cliffs album, the way I see it, the new songs try to make more of a "realistic" song, while the old songs have a more "videogamy" feel to them. (That is why the song title is "Legacy")

Even though I marked the song as a "Forest biome" track, it's more of a "Generic overworld" type of song, so any plains / forest / mountain biome works fine.

This was lovely! I think you have a lot of very strong writing ideas in terms of your melodies and harmonies here, they were all very interesting to me and I loved listening to them. I will echo what some other people have said here, doing some work on helping balance the overall sound and create some contrast in the overall volume level could really add to this. Great work tho!

thank you! I’ll work on volume balance for next time :D

Try to be careful with sustained sounds like the string pad and square wave synth. To make them sound more natural, fade the dynamics/volume over time. Otherwise, it sounds very Minecrafty! Good work!

The piano is a bit too hot (clipping), but otherwise, I can see the direction you were heading towards. Keep it up!

Thank you!

I’ll take the piano thing into consideration for next time :)
