  • Fine small game, good relevance to the theme, only the level finish is sometimes unable to reach, but good job overall!
  • I found the heat mechanic slightly too quick. Sounds are well selected, and I liked the death from a bird.
  • I found the game honest, it has a context, even the initial animation was wonderful. The game has a purpose, which is to get back to your mother's comfort before freezing to death, but I found it shallow, it's only fun the first 3 times you play, then it gets boring. I also missed UI elements, the game doesn't have any that I noticed and it's also completely unbalanced (the developers needed to play it to realize this), there were levels where there simply wasn't enough time to reach the first nest.

How does your game relate to the Pixel New Year Jam theme?
Everything (all the tunnels) are connected and you need to find a way back. Originally we planned more features (earthquake, make it connected again after that with digging mechanic), but we set a 24h deadline because of life :) so we failed to deliver. We hope it's still enough to adhere to the theme...

Did you have fun at this game jam?
Tons! We experimented with a new engine we've not used before, and we did this for a friend of ours that may want to profesionally get into game design as a simple way dip his toes into making a game, so great learning experience as well!

This was fun! I love the art style and really like the idea of navigating the tunnels while moving from one cute pile of pixels to another. Awesome little intro animation!

cool game although sometimes the path to the next one is not possible to reach even with resting on another pile of animal
