I really enjoyed the art style and concept! Difficulty ramps up quickly and really makes you want to keep going til you get it right, great job!
I can confirm, that this is hard. When I played it, my game weapon slayer came to my mind, I raged a lot in that game. Really great godot game puff.
I realize this is intentionally a rage game, but I would look into lessons of your kaizo marios and meat boys and celestes of the world - making the hitboxes generally smaller than the sprites, so that the game looks more oppressive than it is, rather than being more oppressive than it looks; giving the player more degrees of movement precision, so that nailing an angle feels more intentional and less random. But of course it's all subjective so I get if this is the game you wanted to make 😉
Mr. Fridge is a sadist, why can't he keep his saws in check 😭. Very thankful for that quick restart. I got to the last level but got annihilated. Very glad i got to watch the playthough to find out all that sweet Mr. Fridge mythos
