How does your entry fit the theme?
You have to get out of the nearly empty Museum, without making too much noise. This Noise creates Echo, symbolised through an visual effect

What would you like feedback on?
This was our first Game Jam so I would realy like feedback on everything. Constructive criticism is always good.

This game is very simple, but it's decent overall. I appreciate the striking and unique art style, which brings back nostalgic vibes. The idea behind the game is also quite cool and intriguing.

However, my biggest issue with the game is how confusing everything is. I struggled to fully grasp the theme because there wasn't a clear visual 'echo' effect or indication of what to do. The lack of guidance, especially considering the size of the map, made it difficult for me to understand my objectives. It would have been helpful to have a tutorial or clearer instructions.

Overall, the game has a nice concept, but personally, it left me confused and frustrated. I do hope you continue working on the project to improve it significantly. As a first attempt, it shows promise, but it requires more polish and explanation to enhance the player experience. Despite the confusion, I appreciate the effort you put into it. Keep up the good work.

The options should have some visual feedback when you point at them, like changing colors or hovering.

Looking around feels weird, the camera shakes a lot, the jump is weird, the drawings ar nice but the 3d objects leave a lot to be desired. Also, why i can't make a lot of noise? Maybe some enemy would be a good excuse for this mechanic. also you need to add a sound for when you are noisy, the music was good.

Thanks for the feedback, after this jam is over I'll add an tutorial and make the max noise you can make lower, so you can see it atleast once in a lifetime. ;)

Apart from the fact I haven't seen any echo, I have no idea where I'm supposed to place these cylinders

Tutorial will come after this Jam is over. I promise

Bugs and general polish aside, one actionable piece of feedback I'd give is to try and inform the player on what the controls are, and what they're supposed to do.

Tutorials are all well and good, but since this is a game jam and we're all stripped for time, something as simple as a UI panel that gets slapped on the screen when you start up the level would be sufficient. Something like that in this game telling me what I can do and what my goal is would have done wonders, since in lieu of that, I just wandered around and picked up a couple cylinders without really knowing what I was doing.

Regardless, this is a solid attempt for a first game jam! I can see the ambition and effort on display :)

Thanks for your feedback. Well we had real time pressure and the game didn’t turn out like planned :). I really forgot to make anything into that tutorial direction. Thanks for pointing that out.
