scratch is pretty much just a simpler game engine. i dont see any unfair advantages to using scratch and infact it seems kinda like a fun handicap since you gotta make the camera and the tile code from scratch (pun intended)

You have to compile the scratch game into an exe file if you want to make it in scratch.
