Rating system

I don't understand how one game can get rated by 17 people (and wins easily) while the average across all games is 6 people per game. This equates to around 10 people rating one game only and ignoring all the others. I've seen this happen before. Seems very odd. Does anyone have a reasonable explanation?

It may be some people marketing their games more than others, the next jam will allow submitters only to vote to see how it goes.

Thank you. That's a great idea. You could even go further and say that if submitters rate less than say 80% of others' games, theirs will be removed!
