- Pregnancy content: Even though this borders on "Pregnancy as a punishment", I actually really liked the way this was handled here, both in terms of growth and how it tied into the story. It really reminded my of "Cayne" in terms of talking to your child. I wish there had been a few more visible stages, but it makes sense both in terms of when a pregnant woman would start showing and also because the MC is absolutely STACKED here. Gameplay: It's a puzzle game, but one that mixes up the rules all the time, which was really nice to see. There are some real programming chops here, what with the limited view in the lower levels, traps and even bossfights! The first levels and their rock-paper-scissors mechanic were a bit annoying and there were some oversights here and there, but overall it was enjoyable. Creativity: The story was rather unpredictable, which is really good! I wish the english were a bit more consistent, but that is something that can be fixed pretty quickly to give people a better experience. The twist was unexpected and very welcome, too. Personal thoughts: Definitely one of the biggest surprises this jam in my opinion. I admit, I wasn't expecting much at first but this ended up being one of my personal favorites. I'd be open to going over the dialogue and fixing it up, since that and a few playtesting oversights are really all I can think of in terms of critique. The art is charming, but having someone polish it up would also be nice, though that's more of an afterthought.
- Not quite what I expected, this game had a engaging story and unique gameplay system. I enjoyed the game quite a bit.
