It is not everyday that an turned-based strategy isomorphic game shows up for a PSP. [What?! Really?!] Very cool dude! It is really good to see these kind of games being developed. Great job wielding the Stardust engine by IridescentRose.

Cool to see a strategy game here, I actually was originally planning to make something similar, but decided not to since I didn't have a lot of time left after I finished making my engine.

The game crashed for me on level 2, but I liked the mechanics. I don't know if this was intentional, but you can actually just mash the attack button until the enemy dies without having to end your turn. That obviously breaks the "strategy" aspect since it's completely overpowered, but I think it would actually work as a cool mechanic if you tweak it.

For example, maybe you get X action points per turn, and you can decide to spend those on movement or on multiple attacks. That way, you get a defensive advantage (more attacks) by not moving. Attackers will always be at a disadvantage like that though, so some more thought will need to go into it.

Anyways, nice entry. I hope you iron out the issues and release a more complete version!

Wow, was really interesting saw a strategy game for this Jam, and my favorite feature was the dynamic rounds generation.

New version with one crash bug uploaded.

i enjoyed it but i think that maybe when you kill everything, you dont have to spam triangle and waste all the rounds; it sohuld just end

Hi, thanks for playing the game. Its true, the game have some bugs/improvements, when i have some time im going to fix and add something more

That was fun for a while until it crashed. It’s a barebones tactical strategy game so there’s a bunch of features you could add to make it better. Currently there isn’t a whole lot of strategy though.

Are the levels randomly generated or is the first level just randomly selected from a pool of premade maps? I couldn’t tell because the game always crashes after starting the second level

I played on PPSSPP so idk if the crashing would happen on an actual PSP

Hi Skleembof

Thanks for playing the game,  As you say, its a very simple game beacuse it dosent have mechanics. I dotn have time to improveit, but i have a few ideas. in the future i will improve it.

The level are random geneted, not from a pool of premade maps.

i localice a crash  and i push a fix.

Thanks for your info!
