AMAZING GAME 10/10!!! I don't usually play games, but after loosing two lives, I was determined not to give up and keep mining to find my way out.   The best part was when I finally found the door, that was so exciting for me!

Developer

Yay! we're so glad you enjoyed and persevered!!! Thanks for letting us know you enjoyed :)

Amazing story! That twist! I wished you could mine while moving, but perhaps you tried that and it would have taken longer to iron bugs out for. Love the tiles, and of course the screaming. The one thing that was a bit of a problem for me was the "hurt" SFX - it seemed like it had been distorted and there were a few painful high-end frequencies in it. Not the biggest deal though, nice work!

Thank you so much for the play! And I'm glad you enjoyed! I apologize for the SFX... did not notice that but can imagine how that can be super aggravating (beyond normal "ahh I took damage!" aggravation lol)

The atmosphere is definitively the best part of the game. The combat need some feedback though. Maybe some knockback, FX and sound when hitting an enemy would help with that?

Developer

Yeah! We definitely wish we had some time to implement a little more feedback when it gets to enemy battle time. Thank you so much for your positive feedback on the atmosphere!

Love the aesthetic here! The light effects and pallette make things spooky and claustrophobic. Your first minute of digging is so tense since you have no idea what might be lurking!

Glad you felt like you were in suspense!! We weren't fully going for the horror genre initially but kind of ended up there and aren't mad at it.
