- Had a lot of fun with this one on stream! Once you learn the mechanics the game is quite simple and balanced and the description box helps clears stuff up that might be confusing otherwise. I do think the game could use some more optimization though. I was playing it on stream and it ran fairly slowly, which made it a little tedius to play at points. (obv it would have run fine if I hadn't been streaming but you get what I mean)
- This game was certainly unique and took in the efforts on making the ASCII aesthetics and "character/enemy" handling and such! Nice.

Score 6842 Good Game
The game is quite fun and very well done, and I love the aesthetic of it.
The gameplay is nice, the only thing I don't really like and I feel like it should have been improved are the instructions, and some wording, because at first, you don't really know what to do. You don't know how much damage your gun turrets do, or the explosion turrets, the "impassible" wall can be broken by the enemies, and you can't see how much health does the enemy has, etc. You don't really know what bots do, with the exception of the builder bot, what do the scavangers do? What do the miners do? It's very confusing.
But if you look past that the game is very fun and polished
Thanks for the feedback. I was originally planning on showing the stats of units and stuff but I just ran out of time (and space on the screen). If I keep working on this that'll be something I prioritize. The wall is impassible until it gets destroyed :) Scavengers pick up gold off the battlefield and deliver it to the energy crystals (giving you gold to spend), and miners mine rocks and deliver stones to the crystals to give you stones to spend. It's definitely not well explained though. Thanks for playing!
ngl i was completly lost on my first run.
But once i understood how to play, it was a lot of fun.
killing those flying letters by building other flying letters was a nice playtime !
GoodJob
Thanks! Glad you enjoyed it.
Heres mine record (I played only once). The game is awesome with an awesome idea but there's 2 things:
- After a while it can get kind of boring.
- I don't know if I did something wrong but I heard no sound and no music.
Besides that, good job, keep it up.
Thanks for the feedback. Yeah enemies basically just carve their way directly to the crystals in this version, so you're limited in the types of strategies that are possible. I'm going to try to fix that to make things more interesting, as well as adjusting the towers and enemy stats, etc. And yeah, there's no sound because I ran out of time~ It's tough working a full-time job and doing a jam at the same time. Anyways, thanks for playing, that's a great score :)
Very clever game! I love your idea, it's like a tower defense game but with new mechanics. You have a pretty nice design! I like this, it's like you play on the console XD. And thank you for the pause:). It was nice to play your game, good job! My record: 31 wave
Don't give up, make games!
Thanks for playing :)
