Like roboMarchello, I also think it's neat that it's actually a huge area. Wasn't able to find the end location, though.

The tension of the slowly dwindling light really does build.

When I first saw the monster, it was only a shadow on the edge of the light. I don't know if that was scripted, but it really got me tensed up!

The monsters themselves weren't too scary, also the fear kinda dissipated when I was able to juke two monsters, going in between them.

Also, your main editor is neat! Hope you don't mind if I look at the source code and try my hand at designing my own map editor for future projects!

Glad you liked it, spawning the first monster on the edge of what the player could see was intentional I'm glad that moment worked.

The code to read what the map editor outputs in the gamejam version is broken and not really implemented, it was something I threw together in the hopes that the other non-coders on the team could easily drop assets into the game, but unfortunately it didn't quite get finished in that way. Though of course feel free to go through and use any of the code.

Had a lot of fun exploring your world despite IndexError: XX, XX is out of bounds in a few areas. Loved the sound effects and the animations were cute.

Developer

Glad you liked it. I honestly never tried going off the map in my testing, that's what a QA team is for I guess. I'll get that updated in a build here shortly.

I really like that there is a big open world that you can explore. The pixel perfect collision is impressive, I have no idea how you made it, but it's pretty fun. The concept is great. There is a lot to explore, the map is really big. I found an among us character. These headcrab things are pretty annoying but I really like the animation of the player falling off the bike. It's nice how the region of vision gets smaller with time, so you need to move faster to the location. And also what do you mean by "submit to us" and "give up now"🤫 I really like playing this game and it is one of my favourite so far!

Wow, thank you! I'm impressed you were able to beat the game I was worried no one would find Grandma :D

The voices were just me saying random lines into audacity and applying a bunch of effects like reversing or slowing down the speed. I'm surprised you were able to tell what a few of them were haha
