Thanks! I wanted to implement a mechanic where the darkness would recede as you collected candy. I was having a hard time getting the collision mapped out correctly tho and ran out of time. 

A cool raycaster game. I noticed some others were using pygame-geometry. What are you using?

This is a really solid pygame game. The background music fit well with the gameplay.

Can't get past the first screen. Also the collision for your start button appear off? My mouse had to be what I would say 200 pixels above start to select. 

Had a lot of fun exploring your world despite IndexError: XX, XX is out of bounds in a few areas. Loved the sound effects and the animations were cute.

Nailed the lost feeling, I waited for a while to see if I was being chased. 

Didn't really feel like I knew what I was doing at times but I like the atmosphere you created. 

Really difficult, with the intro and playstyle reminds me of contra. 

Neat, got both endings. I thought this was really polished with the music and player movement. 

Really liked the lighting effect and how trees would be destroyed after collecting from them. I wasn't able to find any keys... I did click on the maps and dug where I assumed the x marks were? Tried for a bit until the music looped and I couldn't find any more trees. 

Wow I'm blown away by this. Made it past the first monster but I guess I wasn't paying close enough attention to hear the second one. 

Fun concept, really great sound effects! Love the pixel art style too.

RIP headphone users... I died probably within the first 30 seconds and got a weird crash https://imgur.com/4vvFNKu, I wasn't able to reproduce it. During the "Dad hates mom" segment just be patient I guess? "How is my dad is so smart" Character wasn't able to move for some reason. Not sure if this is intentional?

Sound effects were amazing and I really liked your art style!

Very fun, I wasn't able to get too far. I liked the concept and your use of sound effects. Great job!
