Love the nostalgic game play and the escalating difficulty

Old school fun game! I like this game style, can't stop to shooting :D. That's why please consider to changing shift key because it's triggering win's sticky keys when playing in browser :D

Thanks for you suggestion! I will shift to another key later :) I don't think it is possible to make updates while the voting is going on.

I am not sure but i think you can change it. Well, I added a little information text to begining of the game :O nothing big deal but it's a change anyway. (i didn't delete the first upload, for bad scenarios :P) This jam is all about having fun at least i think that way so..... dunno xD

Not sure why, but I really liked this!  I like how the difficulty gradually ramps up, and I like how exactly 100 nutzoids appear (since you win not when you hit an arbitrary quota, but rather when you save the world from the Nutzoid crisis).  The sounds were also very appropriate.  And I totally respect you for programming this entirely in javascript -- as someone who used js and Phaser 3 in my project, I can attest that that must have been a lot of work.  Really fun game!

Thanks Michael! There is a little bit of complication in how the Nutzoids are interacting, but otherwise this game is very straightforward. Actually using pure Javascript is not that hard. You should check out "Foundation Game Design with HTML5 and Javascript" by Rex van Der Spuy, or https://codeincomplete.com/games/.

Wow, these look like great resources -- I'll definitely check them out.  Thank you for sharing!

Good luck with the coding!

Not the most original idea in the world, but a clear working formula that'll meet the deadline for sure.

Although lacking in the audio department the visuals were pretty cute, nice job!

Thanks for playing! It is a very unoriginal game for sure :)
