How are the key mechanics of the original game incorporated?

Pickup: You get slower when you pick up logs lol

Haha, looks like the same kind of inspiration struck us both. I think having an axe and chopping trees that yield pickups is more satisfying than just looking for logs laying around. Personally I would've liked if it was more challenging to stay alive - it was easy to just stay near the core and wait for trees to spawn by it.

Love to see a fellow lumberjack enjoyer around here! Yes i agree, it is very easy to stay alive currently, i intend to implement some sort of mobs in the future that stop you from doing that (maybe goats that push you away or whatnot, lets see :D)

I love the idea. Would love to see how it looks if you worked on it for a while longer. Btw you can get stunlocked by picking too many logs at once :D
