Cool game. The reload time upgrade is overpowered :)

This could be a really cool game if developed further.

Very clever idea on the theme, my fellow planet enjoyer. The gameplay is very fun too. I got way too many upgrades, but still lost because the planet was turning too slowly, so I ran out of ammo even if I landed every single shot.

The font was pretty bad, so it was hard to see which button I needed to press to press.

Building idols grant you 1000 points but make the game much harder because they block you, but don't seem to do anything to the enemies. That's cool because if you want a higher score,  you're gonna have to make the game harder.

It's also interesting how your health is tied to how many troops you have. So the less health you have, the easier it is to dodge because of the smaller hitbox.

Lovely game :)

Addictive game loop. Oranges fishes need a buff, they're so bad compared to the others!

I love the minimalist art style. Even the music is excellent, particularly the day time music. It has this strange feeling like something is wrong, which gives the whole game an eerie feeling.

The gameplay is nice too. Very simple, and it's very satisfying to play.

Great idea for a game. The only issue is that it took way too long to carry wood to the end of the bridge. The only salvation from the long walk was the fact that you could just jump off and instantly teleport back to the tree, saving you half a trip.

Reminds me of Storm the House. Very fun game

Simple fun. It was nice that could you can drag the towers since the building placement is so weird.

Inspired by Black Myth Wukong? :)

It's a simple game, but I had a moment of fun. At first I thought that the building was bugged, but turns out you just have to click it a billion times.

Cool game. I think the best strategy is to build a big pile of TNT and then just hide inside of them :D

Simple, yet fun game. I think there should have been some kind of logic on what beats what (maybe there was and I'm just too dumb to see it). It was just trial and error.

Really fun idea, and good execution for a 3 hour project. The only real issue was the time limit. The solution to every level was to hastily drop planks from the sky and put on as many nails as I could before the time runs out.  There wasn't time for anything else.

It's a cool idea, but the execution is pretty confusing. I don't know if the game is buggy or if I'm just too dumb to understand it, but everything felt a bit off. Sometimes I couldn't beat the level even if I reached the goal, and then on level 3 I barely even moved and then the game skipped to level 4. No idea why.

Everything feels very polished. Combat is snappy and the controls are responsive.  You even get to choose a scarf for your duck, which is a feature that every game should have.

But there are some problems too:

- The shop upgrades are very boring. +5% attackspeed doesn't change anything, and neither do the other upgrades. The only useful thing in the shop was the heal.

-Lack of variety.  There's only a few enemy types, and your moveset is too simple. You never have to change up your strategy. You go in to hit a few times and then dash away. One good feature was that you can cancel enemy attacks by damaging them. This allows you go handle 3-4 ducks on close range without having to back off, which felt satisfying to pull off.

-Minor nitpick, but the floating lights in the air are annoying. They look cool, but it's hard to tell that if that's an item on the ground, or if it's just a shiny thingy floating around in the air.

Overall it's a cool game.  One of my favorite games in this jam.

Awesome music

Simple game, but it's pretty fun for a while.

It might be unfinished, but it's still a fun game. Controls are tight and just moving around feels great.

I purposefully underscoped this jam so I can actually finish something.

My favorite entry in the jam so far. The visuals are great and the game is fun to play. I beat all 10 levels and wanted more.

Very unique and interesting idea. The game looks and sounds good.

But the gameplay itself could have used some extra challenge and variation to change things up.

The github doesn't have the .pck file either. Or maybe I'm just blind.

The snakes got stuck and there were so many of them that my fps dropped to like 10. Easy win though.

The game could have used some extra abilities or something else to spice things up. There are only three upgrades, and I feel like HP and speed are useless, so technically there's only one upgrade.

Congrats on making your first game! It's a solid foundation of a game, but it needed a few extra features to make it more fun.

The game looks nice even though the graphics are very simple. It fits the jam's theme perfectly.

The biggest problem with the game are the enemies. They tended to get stuck in big clumps instead of chasing me. They also never evolved or anything. It would have been cool to see more dangerous enemies as you progress throughout the game.

Initially I thought that the flashlight was broken, but turns out you can only click on the ground right in front of you.  After I realized that, I never had any issues with it.

The time switch idea was really cool, and you used it well to make some interesting platforming challenges. The writing on the walls was difficult to read due to its color.

Cool set! Would be more convenient if all the sprites were in a single png file.

Thanks for banana, friend!

I like the idea you were going for, but the game is obviously quite unfinished. I love the creepy laughs and atmosphere though.

Your game won't start, it gives this error:

Yeah, I forgot how bright my own monitor is, so the game is probably way too dark for the average monitor.

Adorable art :3

It's great to see a fellow 3D platformer. The game was enjoyable, but I was bit disappointed by how short it was.  Art looks great, and the birds are adorable.

Cute game. Love the art, and the chill background piano. Would have been funny if the squirrel had an animation and the background music was coming from his piano :)

The game definitely could have used some polish to remove those weird performance issues, and a coyote time to make some of the platforming sections more enjoyable. Thanks for playing!

Thanks! 🍌

Glad you enjoyed it!

Yeah, some parts of the game would be way better if jumping worked the way you suggest.

Those small animations and the pleasant color palette make the graphics look nice, even though the art style is very simple.

It's a bit short and there isn't much to do in the game, but it looks great. The crate physics are fun, and could have been used for some cool puzzles and stuff.

Pretty fun game, and challenging too. The art looks great!
