Had a lot of fun putting this together! It's a small boss rush for the Game Boy Color. Only three bosses, but I think it's pretty fun and challenging. Enjoy!

Cute game!
Interesting, but very hard. I just keep dying over and over. The movement is fluid and the controls are responsive. Initially I was taken aback by this being a CGB game since everything is black&white, but then I ran it on my DMG and I saw that it needs the faster processor.
Thanks for trying it out on real hardware! Yeah it is pretty ironic that a GBC game doesn’t have color. Another thing to add when I revisit this project!
Damn good boss rush game, small but good.
Controls are very responsive, movement is fluid, gameplay hard as hell, but good.
The last boss is almost unbeatable, I failed too many times and never beat him, but it seems possible.
The first was harder from the second one.
Thanks for playing! The second boss went through a lot of iterations before release. I'm still not 100% happy with it - maybe one day I'll revisit it. The final boss's 3rd phase is also way too hard, and will need a nerf in a future revision. But I'm glad to see you made it that far!
Whoa, damn hard. I gave up after 130 deaths at the 3rd phase of Death.

Thanks! GB Studio handles collision detection pretty well! Glad to hear you thought the gameplay was fair. I should've playtested a bit more before release - I think the third phase of Death is quite unfair right now, and will need to be addressed someday.
Brutally challenging - to a point that, I'm not gonna lie, I personally found hella frustrating. But I know this is exactly what lots of people look for in a game. It may not be for me, but the game knows exactly what it wants to be, and solidly achieves that. Nice work.

I have to admit.... I did die almost a million times without much progress 😆, only came max in the 2nd stage of the first boss.... those tiny pixels were damn good aimed 😉
Thanks! I originally wanted the bosses to track and fire at the player, but currently there's no way to do that in GB Studio 3.1. Apparently it's possible in the next version of GB Studio!
