Wow! This game has potencial to be improved.
Amazing job! :)
I love me some vehicular/tank combat games! It super bent the 8-bit/NES era theme, but it was good fun! Great work!
Thanks. I had a lot of fun making this and yes, I may have pushed the constraints a bit but I can never resist the urge to break away from the majority. I'm looking forward to the next jam.
Hit detection seemed a bit weird rarely. I watched my shot go through an enemy tank once. As possibly an extension of that it was hard to tell when I got hit since I was so focused on the horizon.
Other than that, a fun little thing. I loved being able to stop enemy shots with my own, and getting the enemies to blow each other up!
Thanks man I really wish I had some more time to polish but I still think I scoped a bit too big with all the shaders and unlocks but you live and you learn. Your game was awesome btw.
The visuals and different palettes are super smooth and fun! I think having the option of using the mouse to rotate the turret would be great as you expand the game.
That would be awesome and very easy to do. I was using a controller as I developed it so I didn't think about it but I'll throw it in with the next update!
Very impressive, you nailed it. I could spend a lot of time playing this :p, good job !
This is a total achievement! It feels similar to games like F-Zero or Pilotwings, which tried to replicate 3D graphics but still felt like old-school 2D games.
Nice battlezone entry, controls feel good. Would love to see more weapons and enemy types like Spectre / Spectre VR
Thanks I'm thinking about continuing development and doing a pc release. If so, I'd definitely add an upgrade phase between rounds and more variety between enemy types!
PS: I had a lot of fun with your game! Cheers!
Fun tank game with amazing visuals! I definitely want to learn how to create cool shaders like the one you've made.
Keep creating amazing things!

That dude is a genius! I'm loving his new video on procedural planets and moons
