What was the origin story?
Steam Eagles, nope. So for context, I nearly quit this jam halfway through because the new team members who joined all quit. However, that wasn't the end. The amazing development community encouraged me to submit something anyway so here it is. Unfortunately I got very sick the last few days so I wasn't able to complete the gameplay loop and it ended up being just a toy.

This was interesting to play, I like how it split screens once the players are far enough away from each other ᕦ(⚆Ѡ⚆)ᕥ it's always annoying when games force people to stay on one screen so it was cool to see a split screen implememted! good job on this, sorry about the people who quit, but this is a good little prototype (^≧▽≦)/
Thanks so much for playing and leaving feedback. The split-screen was probably the best feature I actually finished during the jam. I totally agree with you about local co-op games which confine players to the same screen. I really didn't want the players to feel restricted in any way; I debated about pure splitscreen but I think the dynamic one feels really nice in the majority of situations.
As for the members leaving, I was not really in a super great headspace when the jam ended so I probably made a bigger more dramatic deal than it really was. Now I look at it as a lesson that I need to be more careful about who I collaborate with on jam projects.
