the art style was cute and really enjoyed the simplicity of the game

I love the cute visuals. Getting a perfect with the little text pop-ups feels satisfying. Great job :>

Cute. Loved it. Great visual indicators of the beat.

The cat's little hand pressing the button... GOTY!!!

I like the cute cat and boba! I included it in my Rhythm Jam compilation video series, if you’d like to check it out!

Thank you for featuring our game! Glad you liked the art - schae42 did a great job on that.
"What if I like boba" - Haha, we actually thought about sucking up the boba instead of bouncing it away, but that seemed too hard to animate, and also it wouldn't make sense in space ðŸ˜‚.

Fun rhythm game where you have to repeat the pattern one bar later. I liked the scenes, especially the dancing grandpa.

What to improve? The game felt a bit off-beat, probably because I was playing with headphones. It would be nice if there was a way to calibrate.

Developer

Thank you! Yeah, we also noticed the audio is sometimes delayed. I think it's due to an assumption I made in my audio code that the song will load and be ready to play within 1 second. We found that refreshing often fixes it, but definitely a more robust calibration solution would be better.

Pretty fun and challenging! The plot twist for the cat spaceship was interesting and the old man was amusing too. The text sometimes obscured the rings in the middle, which was fine for the earlier parts of the stages but made it harder later.

Thank you for trying our game! Yeah I think we have a bug with layers that causes some elements to be drawn on top unintentionally, blocking the indicator.
