I was really looking forward to this one when I saw you in the jam (I am a Paper Planet follower), and I was not let down. I like the art and the music is great, but one critique that I have would be the placement of the rhythm "counter." I felt as if I was paying more attention to the bottom left of the screen rather than what was going on, and when I was trying to look around I felt like I kept missing the beat. Maybe if it was more centered either on the bottom or top or a translucent version of it sat in the center it could be easier to keep track of both the beats and the characters.

Thanks for the feedback! I'm glad you enjoyed it! I think you're right that the placement of the pacemaker is a little awkward, having it in the middle bottom is good advice. I might want to make the zombie heads contrast in color more from the background too, maybe put a bright colored bar behind them, anything to make it easier to track just from the corner of your vision. Great job on your game too! I sense a "best overall" coming ;)

The music was a a banger and it was pretty fun to play even though I'm pretty bad at rhythm games

As expected of a Willops joint, the art is fantastic! I love amassing a horde of zombie minions. While it's pretty simple currently and you can just mash Z to gain a zombie army, there's clearly a lot of potential with tactics related to retreating and advancing on different enemies, especially with the second enemy. I also love having the basic zombie be somebody on their phone, that's a great gag!

Just a comment to limit confusion, there is no winning/losing/score. I decided sleeping was more important BUT the game is very close to being feature complete.
