Nice platformer. Performance could be better tho, it feels laggy, higher fps thus more fluent gameplay would make it more enjoyable.
I love the graphics, they are simple, but have nice colors to look at and remind of mario.
Missed some BGM. Music and Sounds are important and a well chosen background track can improve the game so much.
Flags, once triggered, should stay down, else the map is like a labyrinth and you can get lost. Or maybe was that intented?
very good game ^^
A good plataform game. Did you make in which engine? Nice graphics too!
I used GameMaker as engine
This was really fun to play! I enjoyed bunny hopping everywhere, I think I also played this before you changed the jumping but either way you had a nice feeling jump :) I was really getting into the colourful world you were building and all of a sudden I got lost, I ended up back at the start point somehow! Overall I really like the aesthetic and feel and I'm sure low rez jam will appreciate it too ;)
This game feels and looks like a classic platformer. I really like the color palette you chose. :)
The gameplay itself, though, is where I take issue. The jump feels far too floaty; it makes me jumps feel overpowered and tedious at the same time. The map is also surprisingly pretty big. That's not a problem in an of itself, but when the gameplay is centered around finding the right switches to open the right doors, it can get a little frustrating if you don't find those things in the right order and have to backtrack.
I also don't really understand why you added enemies. Obstacles are fine, but these seem to exist to prolong the game's length. Some enemies are well placed; others are frustratingly placed.
Overall, I enjoyed the time I spent here. I don't know if I'll fully complete the game, but I liked it well enough.
Thanks for your feedback!
I uploaded a new patch and tried to get rid of the problems you wrote. Now the jumps are less floaty and have more gravity and i removed some entities that were to annoying.
Thanks for showing me requested information. :) Information removed so as to leave no spoilers.
