Amazing Art and Amazing Writing? What is this a double threat? Hell yeah!
I'm only a little bit in, but I noticed it's only JUST over 1000 files and there's no web version. No pressure, but if you delete some unused files you can post it so it's playable on web and I'd be more people will give it a go! (It has to be under 1K files). I'm REALLY loving the art style and the cool noir feeling to it so far and I'd love for as many ppl as possible to give it a go. There's a really friendly discord community for these jams too if you ever need help posting a browser version feel free to hop in and ask, but it's very doable and easy with MV.
I'll update my comment when I finish the game, but I am really liking the art and style so much so far. <3
Thank you so much for the suggestion! I will definitely make sure to do that as soon as I can!
I'm glad that you're enjoying it so far.
Yeah! I see you got a web version up, nice!! I just finished what's out, I really loved what's there. I liked the gameplay of interrogating everyone and presenting evidence. I wished people said something different the second time you spoke to them, but otherwise I think all the conversations flowed really nicely. I liked the interplay of the characters, very accurate theatre drama haha. And I loved how the descriptions of the characters fit all their art really well.
Speaking of which, the art was really nice. Everyone felt really expressive, it fit in the world nicely and I could tell things about their personality just at first glance. Like the way The Diva was turned away. Really cool little details like that. I liked that there was a visual indicator for important quest items too, always really helpful.
*Spoilers*
I had an idea of who I thought maybe was to blame, or at least what maybe was going on but I did not see the supernatural twist coming at all!! I hope you finish it and we get to see the rest. Really great job yall!
