Softlock and possible hardlock. If you run out of items (very possible if you tried to use them outside of battle) and ammo (very possible since you can miss and the 8 ammo attack doesn't really scale well for the ammo you use) and tp, you can't take any actions or escape (locked at second battle).

Game crashes if you try to equip gear.

You can use the rpg and grenades out of battle, which consumes them. Consuming the smoke bomb doesn't seem to do anything for avoiding battles.

Story is a bit off since you just suddenly are in this other world.

How does anyone leave the apartment? There is no door out and no path out.

You can't return to your room once you leave, that feels odd.

You can't enter your bathroom either?

Interesting dodge mechanic, but can be annoying with different attack speeds, especially when dodging one group will kill you with the other and dodging the other will kill you with one group.

Combat in this was pretty interesting and interactive, though it started to feel like a slog, due to the enemy health amounts. The story was ... weird. Maybe I didn't get far enough to piece anything together. But the transition from the fun dorm room hijinks to post-apocalyptic hellscape was a bit jarring. Hard to make sense of what is going in the gameworld imo. Good work overall though!

Thank you for your playing my game! Everything is intentional. I intend to give the player and the enemies almost the same health for "realism" even though it's a pixelated game. The only way to survive is using smoke grenades and dodging the attacks. It's almost impossible to win a fight without timing the attacks. I hope I can change the game to a better experience after the jam. There was supposed to be a tour of the city before the apocalypse but what time left is all I had which really hurt the story... I will check other games and your submission as well! I look forward to everyone's amazing works!

Heya ralvinty,

I didn't encounter any mayor bugs or crashes. The zoom looked a bit wonky though, but that was probably the tiles fault ^^

Overall I enjoyed it. Awesome custom art with the character sprites and busts -more of that please. And dodging bullets is quite the feat not gonna lie.
Mapping could use a little more work. If you can do pixelart, parallax mapping should be easy 4 you. Maybe you wanna look into that.

Our games are actually kind of similar now that I think about it... You should defiantly check it out! I think my kind of combat would suit your game better -with all the cool gunslingers and stuff. Once you get hold of the machine gun in my game, you know whats up ^^

Thank you so much! I really rushed this game and I'm thankful that you atleast enjoyed the game a little bit! I will check out other submissions and your game soon since I'm very curious of the machine gun that you mentioned! O_o

The handgun you get early on is intentionally awful, that's why I recommended the AR. You will find the earliest one leaning on the mech. Or you could wait until someone eventually makes a video or streams the game.

This game is pretty awesome, I am still trying to get the hang of the dodge attacks, and need to figure out how the prince wedding ties in with present day :)

Thank you so much for the feedback! I was so worried if the players won't like it because of all the bugs and the unstable state of the game >_<
