This was pretty funny. I liked the sprite art and enjoyed reading the dialogue between random NPCs too (even those filler sprites got me).

Unfortunately it kept crashing. I received an error message about an image failing to load when I went to the southern village. I tried to "Retry" to see if I could progress but I couldn't really play past the village area. I eventually got stuck at a loading screen where the error message stayed.

I also went straight to the north in my first run; mechanics were simple to understand, very basic. The quotes leading up to the dragon were great, haha.

Nice funny story, great charming custom portraits, good custom enemy sprites.

But damn it crashes a lot, so I couldn't finish it.

Also mechanics-wise it feels pretty basic, with seemingly just basic damage and healing abilities. Balance also needs heavy work, such as there being not much of a point buying a 35 gold item that heals 100 HP when for 75 gold you can buy an item that fully restores all HP and characters have hundreds of HP at start.

Since it seems like you're a team, if you're looking for somebody to help with RPG Maker scripting and combat mechanics, I could help!

I was laughing my heart out! Too bad I ran into some "failed to load picture" errors and then it crashed, :(

hey! so glad to hear that you are enjoying our game :) would you mind telling us where the error happened (the piece of dialogue that crashed the game) so that we can fix it? thanks!

(this will updated after the jam ends to avoid breaking any rules)

The first time was when I was walking on the souther village. I was going left and I got the first error but managed to keep playing, then I entered a house and the game froze.

ok, thank you for the info! we've fixed the bug and after the jam ends, we'll upload a fixed version. to avoid this bug , just don't talk to the npcs walking around the southern village(other than dot and joanna, as they are vital to the storyline). hopefully that helps! :)
